SIGMA-IoT: Powering the Future of Smart Energy – Project Successfully Completed

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the SIGMA-IoT project as of June 30th, marking a significant milestone in the journey toward smarter, greener, and more efficient public buildings.

Funded under the European Innovation Partnership framework, SIGMA-IoT introduced a cutting-edge platform that combines IoT sensors, AI-powered analytics, and real-time environmental data to monitor and optimize energy consumption in municipal buildings.

Throughout its implementation, the platform enabled:
• Real-time tracking of energy use across multiple sites
• Predictive analytics for climate control and occupant comfort
• Actionable insights to support data-driven decisions by public authorities
• Full alignment with the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) framework of the European Commission

Piloted in collaboration with key stakeholders and city authorities, SIGMA-IoT has demonstrated measurable benefits in energy efficiency, sustainability performance, and digital transformation capacity.

We sincerely thank all our partners, developers, and pilot participants for their outstanding contribution to this successful collaboration. Together, we took a bold step toward the digital and green transition of urban infrastructure.
